Who We Are
We are a household of faith, a family of God's children, living for Christ in the Houston area. We come from a variety of religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. What unites us is our common bond in Jesus, our love for each other, and our desire to grow in our relationship with the Lord.
There is caring ministry for the whole family at CFC to help us grow in knowledge, wisdom and grace. We have seen God's love restore and heal us in spirit, soul, and body. We have learned that we don't have to be worthy to receive God's gift of salvation, and don't have to clean up our lives before we are acceptable to Him. We have also learned that this is still true even after we are born again. Everything we receive from God flows freely out of His goodness. It's never based on our performance (if we do everything right), or withheld because of our lack of performance (if we don't do everything right).
Our church is not a member of any specific Christian denomination, but we are all members of the Body of Christ. We are united with all believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, regardless of their race, language, nationality, or denominational affiliation.
You are invited to come walk with us in your spiritual journey. Just like you, we all desire to know our Creator's purpose and will for our lives. God made you with a hunger to have a relationship with Him, and wants to demonstrate His love to you and through you.
